Amethyst Meditation
Amethyst Meditation:
Take a moment to make yourself comfortable. Either sitting or laying down and gently holding a piece of amethyst in the palm of either hand should you wish. Make sure you are warm enough.
If you are sitting place your feet on the floor with your hands gently resting on your thighs, if you prefer you may use a mudra of your choice with your free hand.
If you are laying down, allow your legs to be outstretched and relaxed or you can bend your knees and have your feet flat on the floor, arms alongside the body but not touching the body with your palms relaxed.
The eyes are gently closed, the back of the neck is long and the tongue relaxes gently in the mouth.
Take your awareness to your breath, as you inhale feel the breath in through your nostrils and as you exhale feel it release. Do this a few times becoming aware of your breath and notice your tummy rising as you inhale and notice it fall as you exhale.
Now, inhale a little deeper and allow this breath to bring positivity into your mind and body and as you exhale gently release out any negativity. Inhale confidence and exhale any doubt. Inhale feel your body relaxing deeper and exhale let go and feel your body sinking down into a relaxed state.
Taking the awareness now into the space between the two eyebrows and at the centre of your forehead. This is your mind-screen. Imagine a huge movie screen in front of your eyes and see yourself on this move screen sitting in an armchair but which is a huge amethyst geode. The geode is packed full of comfortable cushions so you can site right inside like the opening to a cave. Snuggle yourself down and see the crystal structure all around you. Notice your breath and notice that as you breath in you can feel the positive energy of the amethyst enter into your mind, body and your spirit and whole being. Exhaling out your feel a sense of release and acceptance.
Inhale in with a knowing that anything that you want and need is achievable. Exhale out as you fall deeper into the knowing. Feel yourself connected to your higher power and The Universe. Feel yourself connected to The Source and have a sense that we are all one Consciousness. All part of the same family of Spirit.
Remain in this space with your visualisation, if your mind wanders, gently bring it back. If it feels easier return to focussing on your inhalation and exhalation.
Gently now when you are ready begin to release the visualisation and slowly bring your awareness back to your breath. Deepen your breath and each time your inhale feel your senses to begin to return to you one by one.
Finally with your breath returning to normal, begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes, roll your head from side to side and give your body a stretch.
Welcome back into your physical body.
